AI Accelerates Academic Careers but Hampers Groundbreaking Scientific Discoveries, Study Finds

A recent study has shed light on the complex impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic research. While AI tools are enabling scientists to publish papers at a faster rate and advance their professional standing, the overall quality and impact of these publications may be declining.
